Q: IS THE SOCIAL GROUP JUST FOR WOMEN?
Not at all. Although our present membership is made up of widows, widowers are also welcome to come along.

Q: CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME WHO ISN’T WIDOWED?
Yes, of course, friends can join in with you for up to three meetings.

Q: WOULD I HAVE TO JOIN THE CLUB STRAIGHT AWAY?
No, you can come to three meetings before you decide if you’d like to join.

Q: CAN I STILL COME IF I’M UNDER 50 YEARS OF AGE?
Certainly. Most of the existing members will be older, however whatever your age, you’ll be made to feel very welcome.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS AT A TYPICAL MEETING?
On entering the building, just walk straight forward to the lift (stairs also available), and go to the first floor. One of our committee members will be at the arrivals desk and will sign you in.

You’ll then be taken over to join the members at one of the tables where you’ll be introduced and will soon feel “part of the group”.

Everyone is very friendly. Don’t be worried about calling in to a meeting to see for yourself what’s going on.

We’ve all taken that first step of coming along, either alone or with a friend, and we’re all very glad that we did. There’s absolutely nothing to fear.
